Murmur
What can be said about Murmur? Some say he dropped through one of Naj's portals in the castle; his singing and antics entertained the Lord enough that he wasn't thrown back in. Some say he just appeared one day while Dresden was trying to remember the lyrics to "Row, row, row your boat" and helped him fill in the blanks. Others still say he wandered into Neden and simply never left so they all just assumed he belonged.
Needless to say, this demon bard is looking for mischief in the best of all ways.
Rook
A fresh new face to the realms, supposedly he came from some other world and speaks a little differently than most While quite possibly one of the shortest demons in the Realms, this rookie has potential and a fiery heart and supposedly some power he has yet to
unlock. He doesn't talk much about his past but his apprehension could show it isn't one filled with pleasantries. Often mistaken for a dragon, Rook claims to be a Demon of Misfortune being drawn to places of disaster or unfortunate circumstances. It's possible he may have been mistaken for a bad omen or the cause of these such disasters but judging from his good heart he likely just wants to help.
TL
TL was raised in the land of Aranea's dense forest. Everyone he knew had grown up, and died in this forest, without ever seeing the outside world. TL had other dreams - he longed for adventure in distant places, to see the world, and fight for a cause he deemed more important than that of a simple hunter gatherer. If he stayed here he knew his fate would be consigned to that of a logger or pelt collector. He had never known his mother, she had died giving birth to him. He was raised in a tribe of no more than 20 people and was raised only by his father, an herb gatherer for the tribe. His father would make trips to the city once a year to sell potions and poultices. The week before he was to leave TL told him of his dream to leave the forest and pursue grander things. His father was of course upset to hear that his last living family was choosing to leave him behind. However he understood the importance of chasing a dream and gave his son his blessing to leave when they went to the city. From there TL would travel down river through the great plains, to the coastal towns where he could catch a ship to the far north.
The journey took weeks and passage north was never cheap so his father gave him some of his yearly earnings to ease his trip. After finally arriving his true adventure began at a festival known as Tournaments of Chaos. This land had many people split into things called nations who would unite for a common cause but most of their causes seemed mundane or poorly enforced. He met many people of different cultures but no one had quite the right flair he was looking for. That was, until he heard of the nation of Neden, and it would be a full year later that he actually met a member of the nation known to him simply as JB who directed him to their leader Lord Syruss. Their Lord invited him to a feast they were throwing and at that feast he was accepted into the ranks of Neden as an initiate. His dreams were finally becoming a reality as he now had friends and a cause worth fighting for.
